Creator Terms & Conditions
Document Version 3.4 • Updated: 2/6/2026
1. Program Purpose & Ethical Framework
Stint Board functions as a specialized marketplace connecting independent contractors (“Creators”) with clients (“Task Owners”) seeking educational support. The fundamental objective of the Creator Program is to facilitate academic clarity through peer-to-peer tutoring, structured research, and administrative academic support.
By enrolling as a Creator, users acknowledge that the role is to provide the building blocks of learning—such as explanations, outlines, and summaries—rather than providing finished products intended for fraudulent submission.
2. Eligibility & Verification Requirements
To maintain the integrity of specialized categories (such as STEM, Psychology, and Law), all Creators must undergo a verification process. Creators represent and warrant that all information provided during sign-up, including educational background and identification, is truthful and accurate.
Eligibility is a privilege, not a right. Stint Board reserves the unilateral right to deny, suspend, or revoke Creator status for any individual who provides misleading information, fails to maintain an active account, or whose performance metrics fall below the platform’s minimum quality standards.
3. Strict Prohibition of Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Stint Board is a marketplace for human intelligence. The use of Generative AI is strictly prohibited.
Creators are expressly forbidden from using tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, or any other Large Language Model (LLM) to generate content for tasks. This includes using AI for drafting, paraphrasing, or "cleaning up" text.
Stint Board employs rigorous AI-detection protocols. Any submission flagged as AI-generated will be rejected without payment. Repeated violations of this policy will result in an immediate and permanent ban from the platform and the forfeiture of any accrued earnings as liquidated damages.
4. Confidentiality & Social Media Conduct
During the course of work, Creators may be exposed to private information, including client identities, institutional affiliations, and proprietary task details. Creators agree to treat all such information as strictly confidential.
Non-Disclosure on Social Media: Creators are strictly prohibited from sharing screenshots, screen recordings, or descriptions of tasks on TikTok, Instagram, Twitter (X), or any other public forum. "Clout-chasing" by exposing client work or platform internal data is a material breach of these terms.
Creators may not contact Task Owners outside of the Stint Board messaging system. Any attempt to "poach" clients or move transactions off-platform will lead to immediate account termination.
5. Permissible Support Categories
Creators are encouraged to provide high-value educational assistance, including but not limited to:
- Conceptual Explanations: Breaking down complex theories into understandable language.
- Research Synthesis: Providing curated bibliographies and summaries of academic sources.
- Structural Outlining: Creating frameworks for essays, reports, and presentations.
- Technical Tutoring: Step-by-step guidance through mathematical or scientific problem sets.
- Formatting & Proofreading: Ensuring documents meet specific APA, MLA, or professional styles.
6. Academic Integrity & Prohibited Actions
Stint Board does not tolerate activity that undermines the educational systems it supports. Creators must not:
- Log into a Task Owner’s University portal or Learning Management System (LMS).
- Complete live proctored exams or timed quizzes on behalf of a client.
- Submit work that is intended to be plagiarized directly.
- Bypass the platform's secure payment system to avoid service fees.
7. Task Status & Delivery Standards
The lifecycle of a task is strictly governed by the status flow to ensure fairness. Once a task is Active, Creators are responsible for the deadline agreed upon during the bidding phase.
Submissions marked as Submitted must be complete and final. If a Task Owner requests a Redo, Creators are obligated to address their specific feedback within 24 hours unless otherwise negotiated. A task is only considered Accepted (and thus payable) once the Task Owner approves the final delivery or the auto-approval window expires.
8. Financial Terms & Service Fees
Payments are disbursed to the Creator's wallet only after a task reaches the "Accepted" status. Stint Board acts as an escrow agent to ensure both parties are protected.
Subscription Fees: Tiered access fees (Basic and Premium) are non-refundable and are charged for the right to access the bidding ecosystem. These fees do not guarantee that bids will be selected by Task Owners.
Processing Fees: Stint Board reserves the right to apply a service fee to each completed task to cover platform maintenance and payment processing costs. Creators are responsible for any taxes or local bank charges (e.g., M-Pesa or bank transfer fees) incurred during the payout process.
9. Creator Rating & Algorithmic Ranking
A Creator's visibility to Task Owners is directly tied to the internal performance score. Stint Board tracks metrics including submission timeliness, "Redo" frequency, and average user rating.
High-performing Creators gain access to higher-budget tasks and "white-glove" support. Conversely, Creators with high cancellation rates or frequent negative feedback will see their bidding privileges restricted or their accounts moved to a "Probationary" status.
10. Relationship of Parties
Creators are independent contractors. Nothing in these Terms creates an employer-employee relationship, a joint venture, or a partnership between Creators and Stint Board.
Creators are solely responsible for providing their own equipment and managing their own work schedule. Creators have no authority to act as an agent of Stint Board or to enter into contracts on its behalf.
11. Suspension & Permanent Removal
Stint Board reserves the right to suspend accounts without prior notice if fraud, identity theft, or a breach of the ethical guidelines is suspected.
Upon termination, any active tasks will be cancelled, and the Task Owner will be refunded. If termination is due to a breach of the "No-AI" or "Confidentiality" clauses, any pending earnings may be withheld to compensate for platform damages.
12. Amendments & Agreement
Stint Board is a dynamic platform, and as such, these terms may be updated to reflect new features or legal requirements. Creators will be notified of major changes via their dashboard or email.
Continued use of the platform after such updates serves as formal acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions.
